The project encompasses the supply, installation, operation, and maintenance of 44 Environmental Monitoring Stations in Trojena. These stations will monitor key environmental parameters, including Air Quality, Weather, Noise, and Vibration, ensuring thorough environmental monitoring and full compliance with relevant standards and regulations
The monitoring stations are categorized as follows:
- 3 – Type A – Integrated Ambient Air Quality & Weather Station (IAQWS)
- 13 – Type B – Real-Time Standalone Weather Station (SWS)
- 15 – Type C – Real-Time Standalone Air Quality Station (SAQS)
- 13 – Type D – Real-Time Standalone Noise & Vibration Station (SNVS)

Scope:
- Acquire meteorological and air quality environmental data
- Improve the current understanding of the ambient conditions in Trojena
- Provide a spatial and temporal representation of weather conditions and pollutant
levels during the various development stages. - Support the development of appropriate and sustainable engineering designs
- Support the formulation of well-informed management strategies during
construction and operation phases - Monitor and evaluate representative pollutant concentrations and their trends
across the project area - Measure background concentrations in areas where no activity takes place to
ascertain the true baseline for the region - Track and report on performance and ensure compliance and follow up trends
and the effectiveness of management strategies.
