The Aethalometer AE43 is a portable (BC) monitor. Vertical profiling, emission testing, health effects research, mobile mapping, and field measurements at remote locations are all made easier by the features of the AE43.  The Aethalometer® AE43 displays the most relevant data (BC at all wavelengths, %Biomass burning) for instant monitoring and reporting. It can display charts of BC data (from fossil fuel, or from wood burning) relative to wind speed and direction to provide instantaneous reporting of impacts due to extreme events such as wildfires.
